Mitsui Fudosan Realty is a 100% subsidiary of Mitsui Fudosan established in July, 1969 in order to specialize in real estate marketing. Mitsui Group originates from the kimono shop “Echigoya” established by Mitsui Takatoshi, the founding father of the Mitsui family, in 1673 (the first year of Enpo of the Edo Era), more than 300 years ago. Mitsui Fudosan was founded in July 1941 as an important part of Mitsui Consortium’s reorganization to take overall charge of managing all real estate properties owned by Mitsui general partnership companies (jointly founded by Mitsui family members). The long historical background solidifies Mitsui Fudosan Realty’s status as the leader of Japanese real estate industry.
