(A) Preparing for Relocation
Good planning will assure a smooth transition from your present location to the new location:
The following will assist you in making a thorough "to-do-list."
- Notification to your municipal ward office of your move
- Notification of transferring your children's schools and application to enroll in a new school district/schools
- Cancellation and new application of utilities- electricity, gas, telephone. etc.
- Notice of Address Change to: banks, insurance companies, etc.
- Organizing household items and hauling oversized trash.
- Sorting out food items in pantry and refrigerator.
- Courtesy visits to your familiar neighbors, and others, etc.
